Department of Aging

The Ohio Department of Aging fosters sound public policy, research, and initiatives that
specifically benefit older Ohioans. In addition, the Ohio Department of Aging offers plenty of
resources for older Ohioans, caregivers, and professionals in the aging network.
Therefore, Ohio department of Aging is encouraging elected officials, health care
providers, policy makers and all stakeholders to work together to make Ohio the
best state in the nation in which to grow older.

Agency on Aging

The Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) is a private nonprofit corporation. They were organized and designated by the State of Ohio to be the planning, coordinating, and administrative agency for federal and state aging programs in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties. They have more than four decades in providing services and support to individuals in need, WRAAA continues to expand our service portfolio in the long-term and healthcare delivery systems.
